The judges of the 22nd Judicial District Court have appointed a commissioner to perform certain duties in Washington and St. Tammany parishes that would otherwise be performed by a judge. The commissioner's duties are limited by state statute and include 72-hour hearings, bond condition court, protective order hearings and non-support collection hearings.
The commissioner's office, also known as the bond court office, is located on the first floor of the St. Tammany Parish Justice Center. Questions regarding bonds, the reduction of bonds, conditions of bond should be directed to that office. See contact information below.
