22nd Judicial District Court of Louisiana

Six new judges took the bench in the 22nd JDC in January 2009.  Four have replaced retiring judges.  They are:  Judge Hand replaced now-retired Judge DiMiceli of Division B, Judge Swartz replaced now-retired Judge Hedges of Division C, Judge Crain replaced now-retired Judge Green of Division G, and Judge Penzato replaced now-retired Judge Fendlason of Division H.  Two judges were added to new divisions of court.  They are Judge Devereux of Division K and Judge Amacker of Division L.  These two new divisions are legislatively designated to hear family and juvenile matters.
