The 22nd Judicial District Court has established a probation office for Washington and St. Tammany Parish misdemeanor offenders. The office is located in the St. Tammany Parish Justice Center on the first floor. A probation officer is assigned to monitor defendants who are placed on probation for a misdemeanor offense in the 22nd Judicial District. While on misdemeanor probation, an offender may be required to submit to drug tests, to meet with probation officers, attend classes, perform community service, and pay fines, fees and restitution.
